Definitely exceeded my expectations.
I tried the 15L and it's far more comfortable than I thought a cooler back pack would be. The padding and position of the support straps which you can adjust and they don't dig into the shoulders at all, even when it's at full capacity.
I've had a cooler bag before that you can carry but I only used it a couple of times because it was awkward to carry. This is completely hands free, so it's perfect to get to any hard to reach locations. I've already taken this ocean waves one down to the beach. It doubles as a dry bag aswell if you just want it to keep your clothes dry!
I love my new Ocean Waves 15L Insulated Cooler Bag. I put my bottle of JD on one pouch and my glass in stubbie cooler in the other. I chucked in 2 ice bricks and some rainwater ice in zip lock bags along with 6 cans of coke. Everything inside stayed super cold and as it is a backpack I was able to free up my hands and carry in my potato salad for the party.
I’ve been looking for a Grab Bag for the boat that would hold flares, epirb, hand held vhf licences etc. though there are a few around, none of them have flotation or they are ridiculously priced. The Tidal Trekker is perfect. It floats if I inflate it, it has a waterproof pocket on the front for licences, registration phone and keys. 15l is just right for the epirb, flares, and a litre of water. If I could have got safety yellow or orange it would have been perfect plus. Hot pink is just as distinctive.
